We met about 1995 through a mutual friend, (Jackie).  At the time Richard was living in Sandy Bedfordshire while Marlene was living in Letchworth Hertfordshire.  We married 03/05/1997 at the Hitchin Spiritualist Church and live in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. Where we both enjoy reasonable health and remain active.

Marlene is the gardener and makes the decisions about the flowers and plants, while I maintain the fish pond. Our back Garden is out little sanctuary from the world, and Marlene has come second in the Howard Cottage Garden Competition several times.

It is quite a picture when in the summer we can sit out and enjoy the sights and sounds of summer, watching visiting butterfly’s and other creatures.

We have both been married before and still have contact with some of our previous families. Richard has a brother Alan and a Sister Christine, while Marlene has a brother Gary  and a sister Greta.

We both enjoy outings, especially to wildlife parks, and would love to go on an African Safari one day. We share a love of nature and wildlife that brings us lots of pleasure both out and at home. There are muntjac deer , and a woodpecker in our local common and Letchworth has black squirrels as well.. We both serve on our local Neighbourhood Watch, Tenants Association, and Church Committee so we have very busy lives.
